PICS3D 2025 is the latest stable release of Crosslight Software's industry-leading 3D simulator for semiconductor lasers and photonic devices. This version focuses on production-ready enhancements to existing models, particularly in photonic crystal surface-emitting laser (PCSEL) simulation, while newer experimental features like the photon-photon resonance model are being introduced in the 2026beta branch .
