SACS is an integrated suite of software that supports the analysis, design, fabrication, and installation of offshore structures, including oil, gas, and wind farm platforms and topsides. Its ability to dynamically iterate designs allows users to perform advanced analysis, comply with offshore design criteria, and visualize complex results. Product Data Sheets: SACS Marine Offshore Wind Turbine Analysis SACS provides offshore engineers with comprehensive analysis and design capabilities that improve infrastructure operational safety and minimize risk and ensure compliance for a broad range of structures. It is proficient in specialized analyses important to any offshore project, including: non-linear structural analysis; dynamic response analysis due to wind, current, waves, and seismic loads; analysis for impact effects; and special high-end analysis for severe...
Sesam HydroD software Hydrodynamic design of floating structures The Sesam HydroD software is a tool for hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis. By integrating these tasks, significant cost savings may be achieved in the engineering phase since the same panel model may be used by one tool. Sesam HydroD software will perform compliance checks against statutory rules for stability including the importance of integrity of the deck tanks. Floating positions may be determined as a result of actual mass and buoyancy or from an automatic compartment filling to satisfy specified position. Hydrodynamic analysis The hydrodynamic analysis may be performed using the actual floating position – and independent of the panel model – to determine worst loading conditions to be used in structural...

WaterGEMS is an easy-to-use hydraulic and water quality modeling solution for water distribution systems. It features advanced interoperability, model building, optimization, and asset management tools. WaterGEMS runs on your choice of four platforms (stand alone, Microstation, AutoCAD, or ArcGIS). From fire-flow and constituent-concentration analyses, to energy-consumption and capital-cost management, WaterGEMS helps engineers and utilities analyze, design, and optimize water distribution systems. Water utilities, municipalities, and design engineering firms trust WaterGEMS as a reliable, resource-saving, decision-support tool for their water infrastructure. Criticality Analysis allows users to find the weak links in a water system and assess the adequacy of isolation valves. They depend upon its robust hydraulic analysis, practical model management, eloquent result interpretation tools, and unrivaled ease of use.Product:Bentley.WaterGEMS.08.11.04.58 SS4...
Displacement Based Design Traditionally, earthquake-resistant design has been strength-based, using linear elastic analysis. Since inelastic behavior is usually allowed for strong earthquakes, this is not entirely rational. Strength-based design considers inelastic behavior only implicitly. Displacement-based (or deformation-based) design considers inelastic behavior explicitly, using nonlinear inelastic analysis. Displacement-based design recognizes that in a strong earthquake, inelastic deformation (or ductility) can be more important than strength. PERFORM-3D allows you to use displacement-based design. Implementation of ASCE 41 Procedures for displacement-based design using inelastic analysis are specified in ASCE 41, “Seismic Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings”. ASCE 41 applies to the retrofit of existing buildings, but the procedures can be applied to the design of new buildings. PERFORM-3D implements the procedures in ASCE 41....
A completely revised and easy-to-use standalone interface that looks and feels like every other product in the Haestad Methods product line will make existing users of products such as WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, and StormCAD immediately feel comfortable developing transient analysis models in the new HAMMER. HAMMER uses the Method of Characteristics – the benchmark standard and unquestionably the most rigorous and robust algorithm for hydraulic transient flow analysis with over 20 years of proven real-world implementation. HAMMER’s all-new interface further simplifies the complex science of water hammer and transient analysis by implementing all the productivity and interoperability features that make Haestad Methods products the easiest to use in the industry. Key new features in CivilStorm V8i (SELECTseries 3):INTEROPERABILITY Common file format with other Bentley sewer and stormwater products: With CivilStorm, StormCAD, SewerGEMS, and SewerCAD\’s new unified file format, the .stws file replaces the .csd, .stc, .swg, and .swc files. This common file format makes modeling teams’ workflows more efficient, since a model created in any one of these products can now be seamlessly opened and edited in another. Updated support for MicroStation: You can run CivilStorm from within MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3). A MicroStation license is required – if you don\’t have a MicroStation license, you can choose to run CivilStorm in its stand-alone mode. Updated support for AutoCAD: You can run CivilStorm from within AutoCAD 2014 (32- and 64-bit)....

SDS/2 Modeling provides detailers and designers with the ability to utilize only the 3D modeling portion of SDS/2 Detailing. SDS/2 Modeling works exactly like the SDS/2 Detailing software when it comes to 3D model creation and connection design, along with various reporting and status capabilities. In SDS/2 Modeling, users may view and add notes to any details or 2D drawings, but cannot generate new drawings or make any changes. SDS/2 Modeling helps companies maximize the use of SDS/2 software solutions. Model builders can use SDS/2 Modeling to create the model — which can then be either imported back into SDS/2 Engineering for analysis or taken to SDS/2 Drafting to be detailed. Essentially, it allows companies with multiple SDS/2 licenses to...
